Jordan Jansen was born
on March 12, 1998 and he has now been singing for about
two years. In that time, Jordan has come a long way, and
his voice is getting stronger and stronger!
Jordan has just recently completed performances in his
fourth musical, with a successful season in West Side
Story. His previous shows have included Gypsy
Rose Lee, Esther: the Rock Musical and Robin
Hood and His Merry Men. Jordan will next be playing
the role of Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun,
which will be showing in March and April of 2008.
Last year, Jordan was the Grand Finalist in the Sanctuary
Cove Talent Quest and in 2006, he won the Springfest
Pines Idol.
Jordan’s major public debut came when he sang at the
2006 Colgate Palmolive Christmas Carols. Since
then, he has performed at several impressive venues
around the Gold Coast, including at the Leukaemia
Foundation’s High Tea Party, the Royal Pines
Resort, the opening of the 2006 Arts Festival and
at the National Netball Tournaments, where he
also sang in the closing ceremonies. In 2007, Jordan
opened for the Gold Coast’s 6th Annual Volunteers
Awards Ceremony, hosted by Rob Readings and Letica
Vargus.
Most recently, Jordan was invited to sing the National
Anthem for the Australian Awards Ceremony and
again for the Australian Citizenship and
Naturalization Ceremonies, held on Australia Day
2008.
One thing is absolutely certain. Jordan Jansen will be
worth watching. He is a star now and he’s just
getting started. Those that are wise enough to
invest in this young man’s future will find a
rock solid and certain return. Those that have
seen and heard him can’t say enough.
